What about "Birds Aren't Real" ? seems stupid, but it works. People get "Birds Aren't Real" merch all the time. Like I thought it would be funny if I made one saying "Society's turning into f*ckers", except its true. I think we should just give up hope on USA. We keep getting horrible presidents and our education is horrible, especially in Montgomery, Alabama, United States. I am getting depressed and hate that know one is paying for my SaaS products and the US is getting dumber and my entrepreneurial ideas are going down the drain. I have a "birds arent real" sticker too All my failed products: https://rototer.com - GDPR compliance software that shut down https://twayobiz.com - Big drop off rate and horrible feedback https://monkeycord.at - Never built https://obeatow.me (Now https://obeatow.com) - Not shut down yet, but going towards failure https://dunksaas.com - No longer avaliable, go to https://itskattysoft.club https://itskattysoft.club - No users currently using community

Don't worry, society is not ruined! In many ways it's the same as ever (so if it's ruined now it always was). Look at some of the stats on mortality, suffering and you should get a rosier picture. "Birds aren't real" is just a joke -- if some people mistakenly believe it, there's not much you can do about that. > I think we should just give up hope on USA. We keep getting horrible presidents and our education is horrible, especially in Montgomery, Alabama, United States. This is a passive take -- one of the best things about the USA (and democracy in general) is that if you want to change it, you can. If it's not that bad, then don't -- but you have a choice (even if it's a hard road) to change it (or leave it). > I am getting depressed and hate that know one is paying for my SaaS products and the US is getting dumber and my entrepreneurial ideas are going down the drain. > > All my failed products: As the kids say you might want to go "touch grass". Take a break, let your mind readjust, then get back to it. Building a business to sell a product from 0 to 1 is insanely difficult. It is so difficult that the failure rate colloquially (and actually) well over 90% (probably even higher). You've listed 6 so far so you're on track (that's not how probability works but indulge me). This is a great chance also to adjust your approach -- *how* are you building your products? Are you validating the market exists first? Are you selling/contacting leads and finding people who certainly *need* the products you're building? Another thing you might consider is plying your programming skills towards a traditional job, building capital, and buying a business that's already at 1 and improving it to 10 or 100. That, or get into a position where you can mentor under great product minds! You're early -- the world's your oyster still.

@sewell_stephens > "Birds Aren't Real" is a joke. I actually think its quite funny 🤣, Although I think the whole point here was that I think was that people are given lots of fake news and its nice to see someone make fun of it. Agreed -- it's hilarious! > Actually I first look through SaaS business ideas and then modify them a bit to be more beneficial. Then I come up with a name using my very own technique where I search up a random word and change the letters around until it is unique, has under preferably 10,000-1,000 results on Google, and is not too crazy sounding. After that I use https://netlify.com and put together a Tailwind landing page with my very own graphics. Then for the dashboard I use https://editorx.com and add a bunch of custom code functionality and code in the auth system. > Once finished with product, I use Google Ads and pay for Search ads. It gets me lots of signups, but my drop off/churn is extremely high. > Here I used the following technique for https://obeatow.com Not that I'm in a place to critique it, but it sounds like your process is pretty good already (quite similar to mine), but maybe you could benefit from doing more customer development and market validation earlier in the process? Advertise, market, and sell *before* you build, and run good customer interviews (look up how to do a good customer interview) to find what directions you should go in?
