Hi people, I’ve been away from PH for a while now, working on a new product - Sectar. So, for the last few months, I’ve been building a SaaS product to tackle delay and uncertainty in service payments. Would love to get some early feedback on the beta version. Problem we are trying to solve: Getting paid for your service work as a freelancer, agencies or a contractor is extremely stressful - it's uncertain, chaotic and always delayed - making it tough for running and growing a business. Solution: Let service providers assign a money value to each task they do as a part of the project and get money in their account instantly after the task is approved. This way, every task becomes a tiny invoice that is payable after approval. Does this make sense at all? Adding ‘How it works’ as a comment below. If you’d like to see a demo, here it is: www.loom.com/share/eba6efb4da36461ab74d2958ff0d9ddb?sid=9a8a2dd5-e03c-45b1-9aed-57f61a9b179e You have the rights to roast the idea :)

This is how it works: - A service provider signs up, creates a project and sends it to the client for review - The client approves the project and funds the first milestone budget, say $100. - Sectar collects the payment and holds it in an escrow-like account. - Now the service provider can create a task, assign a value, say $10 and send the task for review once it’s done. - Client the approves it and we move the $10 to the user’s account instantly. No need to invoices, payment links, email back and forth, etc. Work = payment.
