I have been with the Product Hunt community for over 3 years now. Since then I have supported 100+ launches, had countless conversations in the community and connected with over 200+ people across LinkedIn and Twitter. Just dropping this post as a thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey and looking forward to connecting with more folks in the year to come! Feel free to drop any PH questions you might have in the comment section below. :)

Great results! What is your #1 tip for successful PH launch?
Nico Spijker
@sergiy_ovcharenko It's a numbers game. There is a certain amount of votes that are typically seen in the top 5 launches on any given day. Work on getting your numbers to a place where you feel comfortable getting there. Want to launch on a Tuesday? You might want to have 800+ notifies, or a number of newsletter subscribers that you know will actually show up. Schedule the launch once you reach that number. Also, don't forget that PH is a black box. You might feel super confident that you'll rank #1 and then a new chatgpt update comes out and gains all the attention. Nothing is guaranteed but consistent work does set the foundation for success.

Congrats. My question is, personly, what's the biggest change that PH brought to you?

@nicolaas_spijker I'm in the process trying to expand my network, do you have any tips for me?
Nico Spijker
@thinking_aloud Learnt loads about networking from the community I think. Especially when doing different launches want to reach out effectively to others and make connections. Doing that in a genuine way is harder than it looks and I've definitely refined that approach. So it has changed the way I approach people and conversations for the better. Adding more value, being more empathetic and thinking a step further to create win-win situations for everyone.
