Hi! I'm super nervous and excited because we're launching TripFit next Tuesday!! After working on this for almost 2 years, I'm sure you understand my nerves at the moment! Have you been through a kickstarter campaign already? I would love to hear what helped you the most or if you have any tips for first-timers! Thanks a bunch in advance!! I’ve launched 3 successful crowdfunding campaigns. I hope you spent time building an audience prior to launch to get some initial momentum! If not do everything you can until launch. It’s all about momentum. Make sure you also try get some PR around it.

Once your Kickstarter campaign has successfully launched, it's important to maintain momentum and engage with your backers. Here are some tips for the post-launch phase: 1. **Thank Your Backers**: Show your gratitude by sending personal thank-you messages to your backers. Acknowledge their support and express your appreciation for their contribution to your project. This simple gesture can foster a positive relationship and encourage continued engagement. 2. **Provide Regular Updates**: Keep your backers informed about the progress of your project through regular updates. Share highlights, production milestones, and any challenges or setbacks you may encounter. Transparency and consistent communication demonstrate your commitment to fulfilling your promises. 3. **Manage Backer Expectations**: Be realistic and transparent about the timeline for product delivery. If there are any delays or changes, communicate these promptly and explain the reasons behind them. Building trust by managing expectations will help maintain backers' confidence in your project. 4. **Stay Active on Kickstarter**: Continue engaging with the Kickstarter community even after your campaign ends. Explore other campaigns, back projects that align with your interests, and contribute to the Kickstarter community. This involvement can attract attention to your own project and potentially lead to collaborations or cross-promotion opportunities. 5. **Fulfill Rewards Promptly**: Plan and organize the fulfillment of rewards efficiently. Keep accurate records of backer information, including shipping addresses and reward selections. Regularly update your backers on the progress of reward production and shipping. Timely fulfillment builds trust and enhances the overall experience for your backers. 6. **Encourage Backer Feedback and Reviews**: Once backers receive their rewards, encourage them to provide feedback and share their experiences. Positive reviews and testimonials can influence potential customers and help generate additional sales. Feedback also provides valuable insights to improve future iterations or products. 7. **Maintain Communication Channels**: Continue to provide avenues for backers to reach out to you with questions or concerns. Keep the lines of communication open through social media, email, or a dedicated customer support system. Promptly address any inquiries or issues raised to ensure a positive customer experience. 8. **Consider Stretch Goals or Add-Ons**: If your campaign has significantly exceeded its initial funding goal, consider offering stretch goals or add-ons. This can incentivize additional contributions and provide backers with extra value or exclusive content. Make sure to communicate these stretch goals clearly to generate excitement and encourage continued support. 9. **Leverage Social Media and PR Opportunities**: Utilize your post-launch phase to leverage social media and PR opportunities. Share updates, product highlights, or press coverage to create buzz and attract new customers. Collaborate with influencers or bloggers to extend your reach and tap into their existing audience. 10. **Plan for Future Projects**: As you wrap up your Kickstarter campaign, start planning for the future. Use the momentum and community you have built to lay the foundation for future projects or product iterations. Stay engaged with your backers, nurture your network, and consider launching new initiatives to keep the momentum going. Remember, successful post-launch activities are just as important as the campaign itself. By nurturing your backers, fulfilling promises, and staying engaged with the Kickstarter community, you can create a positive post-campaign experience that supports your future endeavors. Best of luck with your campaign!
