What do you believe are the primary factors that play a crucial role in ensuring the success of launching a new app?

Distribution and exposure. No matter how good a product you have built, if you don't have the right channels pushing potential users to discover or even try, I believe you'll find it hard to get the traction needed to even learn.

@alexandra_dinh follow where your ICP is, events, meetups, conferences, marketplaces and forums.
@roycewong How do we discover the right distribution channels? Do you have some suggestions or perhaps you can share your experience?
@roycewong so true

Can't wait to see how the community reacts to the product! 🔥
Exposure and getting your target market excited about your product!
@allison_ly what's your tactic to get the market excited?
@allison_ly @tatiana_stronskaya I'm curious about that, too.

Luck. Luck is a crucial factor.
But also you need to be prepared to receive such luck. So do your best, prepare as much as you can. And accept luck is a factor.
@alec_afforai Would love to hear why you believe luck plays such a huge factor.
Of course, luck is a factor as we all have some form of luck of where we were born, the education received, who we've had the privilege to come across and meet, etc. But where do you see it factoring in?

@divine_rivers1 Oh I don't mean luck in the sense you are thinking about. What I mean here is luck of the day you launch, are there any big players launching?
are there any big events happening in the world to distract people from PH?
Did some celeb retweet your launch? etc
You see where I', going with this? environmental factor is not predictable.
@divine_rivers1 @alec_afforai I think for celebs we probably need to build connection with them, or if they're angel investor of the startup. It's quite unlikely that a startup got lucky with an upvote or retweet from a celeb.
A strong supportive community and a great product that delivers value.
@aditi_contextqa_ai I agree! How did you build your community in the past?
