Product Hunt Launch Checklist
Product Hunt Launch Checklist
Few tips from my interview: 1. My strategy is always to try get the maximum upvotes within the first hour of launch (I call it The Golden hour). When you get more upvotes in the initial hours, you will be ranking in the top. And being on top of the homepage brings a lot of views and upvotes as many users check top products only. 2. Have a set of post templates for posting on Subreddits and Whatsapp groups. 3. Have a set of thank you replies as well to reply on Product Hunt. 4. Embed PH badge on homepage as well as in the workflow. For example, welcome email. 5. Get upvoted by the whole team. Ask your team to upvote & ask them to get support from their friends as well 6. Set a banner on your website about product hunt launch. Get 200+ actionable tips here: https://phlaunchchecklist.com/

Oppflow ranked Product of the Day #1 and here are a few things we did: 🔘 Find people on Product Hunt who might be interested in your product and start a conversation with them in discussions or on external platforms. 🔘 Prepare message templates to send for your Coming Soon page and launch day. 🔘 Reach out to as many people as possible when you created a Coming Soon page, and don't forget to ask their feedback if there is any. 🔘 Join the PH communities on WhatsApp, Telegram, etc. 🔘 Reach out to people on your launch day and post the launch day message on community groups to attract a wider audience. 🔘 Don't forget to answer all the questions you get on your launch day. By the way, Exitfund looks great but I saw that only founder from India and USA can use it to seek investment. Why haven't you include other countries?

@hilal_aydin ok beauty - sounds like ample lead time - sorry about all the questions! How much time do you think people were allocating to that outreach per day / week? (Last one I promise!)
Daniel Zaitzow
@hilal_aydin How many people do you think you had in the pipeline across all channels that you / the team directly reached out to?
Daniel Zaitzow
@hilal_aydin Wow! Amazing. How did you find all 900?

@dzaitzow It was months of work. We connected with people on LinkedIn after engaging with them on PH. We searched for active users of PH and sent connection invitations to them. We were 4 people by the way, and we all tried to connect with as many people as possible for 4-5 months.

@dzaitzow No problem :) around 5 hours a week in the first 4 months. 10-15 hours a week during the last month. I think we spent most of our time connecting with people on the launch day as well.
