Leverage external tools, but always use internal team (provided that you can procure an internal team). At the end of the day, it's your product. An external vendor can't completely align with your product vision. And won't take care of it in the way internal team will. Having said that, outsourcing can be cost effective in the short term. But don't forget to weigh in the demerits.

@naomigarcia I have experienced working with a team that has a very goal-oriented vision for the product. One thing is certain: a team that believes in the product will go far. followed , reviewed and upvoted your product! hope you will do the same!

Choosing between developing products or services internally versus outsourcing depends on several factors: 1. Cost: Outsourcing can be cost-effective due to lower labor costs and reduced overhead. However, internal development may offer better control over quality and long-term savings if the team becomes more efficient. 2. Expertise: Outsourcing can provide access to specialized skills and expertise not available in-house. Internal development builds internal knowledge and can lead to greater innovation over time. 3. Control: Internal development offers more control over the product or service, while outsourcing can lead to challenges in quality control and alignment with your company’s vision. 4. Scalability: Outsourcing can offer flexibility to scale quickly without the need to hire and train new staff. Internal teams may face limitations but provide more consistent quality and company alignment. 5. Long-term Value: Internal development can be more cost-effective in the long run if it leads to better product quality, innovation, and alignment with company goals. Outsourcing may provide short-term savings but could lead to higher costs if issues arise or if the partnership is not managed well. Ultimately, the decision should be based on your company’s specific needs, resources, and strategic goals.

Internal development offers better control and alignment with company goals but can be costlier and slower. Outsourcing can be more cost-effective and faster but might lack the same level of control and integration.

This is a broad question, Mark. It depends on many factors. - It depends on the complexity of the project/product that you are building. - It depends on whether that product is a subscription product or one time use. - It depends on whether you will needs to provide continuous tech support with variable features. and many more such questions, Sometime outsourcing product helps esp. when the product is very simple one. But sometimes, its more cost effective in long run and has less headache if the product is complex. :) What are you thinking to build?

There's a fine line between the two. I think you can leverage expertise in select areas. However, it's important not to become over reliant on it.
