Yes, sure. I build my personal brand on LinkedIn.

@elenat awesome, and how's it going? Do you track any vanity metrics or have any specific objectives?
Elena Tsemirava
@katairobi it is not easy, definitely. I started just a few weeks ago, so it is early to speak about any results.

Personal branding can be massive. There are loads of communities on Twitter and LinkedIn that can help you grow your business but personally as well. It also builds trust with your audience and for your business because it has a face to it.

@davefunnellab I agree with you - personal branding can be a massive channel for a company (here's a great article written by @amandanat - https://sparktoro.com/blog/an-em...) What channels do you use to build your personal brand?
Ricky Goon
I would love not to since I don't want to stick my own brand to any product, but for products that just started out, relying on staff's personal branding and network should be the first step, I think

@goon_ricky interesting, and thank you for being so honest. I also believe that not anyone should build their personal brand to promote their startup/company. If it's in your blood, then make it. If not - don't do it!

Yess personal brand can be super helpful. Sometimes even more effective than company brands, esp if you are just starting out. The post you do on your personal Linkedin profiles typically get a lot more engagement than the company ones. Likewise for the newer channels like TikTok - you need to put a human face to your content and founders at an early stage startup typically gives the best shot. @weiruye do you have like a case study that your personal brand is helping Vizard.ai get more reach and more customers?

@katairobi We don't have a case study of ourself doing it but happy to point you to others/our users who are doing this!

No. I try to build a product related channel and try to use personal one for product marketing. I wear many hats and I launch many things, often unrelated. There is no 'one audience fits all' in my case.
