We are lauching a new offer for Indie Hackers and I'm looking for advice to target them. We are a solution to send emails and SMS. The offer is cheaper so they can use the solution for their first users and validated. We also developed specific features for them. My question is : How do you reach them ? I'd love to think that they are on Linkedin, but are they ? I've heard of Hacker news. Any advice to use it ?

Indie Hackers can be a tricky group to target as they often rely on niche communities and word-of-mouth rather than mainstream platforms like LinkedIn. That said, here are some strategies to help you reach them effectively: Twitter: Many Indie Hackers are active on Twitter, where they share progress, tools, and resources. Follow popular Indie Hacker accounts, engage with them, and post threads about how your service can solve problems for first-time users. Subreddits: Communities like r/Entrepreneur, r/SaaS, and r/IndieHackers can be great places to connect, but as with Hacker News, avoid overt sales.

@bilalasif Thank you for your answer. I didn't think about Reddit even if I actually use it personnally. Sounds interesting

Sounds like a solid offer for Indie Hackers, especially with affordable pricing and tailored features! Reaching them can be tricky, but there are a few approaches you could try: 1. Hacker News: It’s a great platform, but the key is to engage with the community rather than overtly promoting. Share insights or success stories about how your solution helps early-stage startups. Be genuine, as Hacker News users value authenticity. 2. Reddit: Subreddits like r/IndieHackers or r/startups are also good places to connect. Share valuable content, answer questions, and introduce your solution when it's relevant to the conversation. 3. LinkedIn: You’re right to think of LinkedIn. Targeting relevant groups or using hashtags like #indiehackers can help you reach a broader audience. Engaging with posts by popular figures in the Indie Hacking space can also help boost your visibility. By the way, if you’re looking for a fun way to engage your audience or just want to explore something different, check out Bombitup http://bombitupapp.in/ —it’s a site where you can send prank SMS messages, and it's a great way to lighten the mood!
