I was catching up with my university friend (elementary school teacher) and she was very passionate about students not having access to AI writing tools until university age? Personally, I don't see the innovation of such tools as a kill to curiosity or hard work. Thoughts?

There is no universal minimum age for using AI writing tools in schools, as policies differ by institution. Typically, it's recommended that students start using these tools in middle school or later, when they have a solid foundation in writing and critical thinking. While early exposure can enhance learning, it's essential for teachers to oversee their use to ensure they support rather than substitute fundamental skills. At DPS schools, where advanced technology may be part of the curriculum, the integration of AI tools can also be related to the school's resources and fees. Parents should consider how the cost of DPS School Fee aligns with the advantages of these educational tools.

The minimum age for using AI writing tools in schools varies, but it's generally suitable for students in middle school and above. However, it's essential to consider individual maturity levels and the responsible use of technology.
