What's the most used communication tool in your company?
Why do you use it?
We use Jira in our company, but I find it a bit inconvenient.

@roza_zakaryan1 I see, it must be important to effectively divide the roles among these three tools!
We use Slack for communication and Jira for task management within the teams.
@dan_burns @carolmoh "Our team also uses about three tools. It seems important to find the right number, as too many can be confusing.
@dan_burns same here but also we throw notion into the mix so basically all of the above 😂
i use all of them
@jasmine_butters It's interesting to see how many people use all three tools at once!

We use all of them
@kabir_haynes It makes sense, since the three tools have slightly different purposes. Using them all together for efficient work seems like a very good idea.
Me use all of them.
@tanya_sharath Slack is probably for communication, right? And Jira for task management?
We use Notion (Documentation, Work management), Slack (communications) and Drive (general storage).
@alvarovillalb_ we also use drive too! I see you will launch your product soon, good luck:)

In our company, Slack is the go-to for daily communication because of its instant messaging capabilities and seamless integration with other tools. We find it fosters a more dynamic and responsive team environment compared to more structured platforms like Jira.
@sophiawms It seems like a great advantage that Slack integrates well with other tools. It's impressive how you're effectively utilizing both tools!
I think slack is very important
@hassan_shah7 I really like Slack too! At my previous company, we used Slack every day. 😄
We use all three! I think it's super powerful to have Jira <> Notion together for organization and keeping documentation sorted.
Of course, trusty Slack for all comms
@janie_baek It seems like you use the tools very efficiently! It's impressive how each tool has a clear purpose.
@grace_ottley Slack is definitely a great communication tool!
My company uses Discord as a communication tool and Clickup for tracking some work. :D
Slack - but I'm always reminding folks to put updates and project related feedback in ClickUp (our tool of choice :)) Slack is for chit-chat and getting people's immediate attention. ClickUp is for work.
@emilyhunkler Since we are a small startup, we use Discord for a more casual atmosphere. ClickUp is new to me, but I'll look into it! Thanks for the suggestion!
Slack for communication, Notion for documentation and task management
@dikshapatrob Notion is definitely a powerful tool for managing tasks and organizing documents!
We use Slack for communication and TeamFu for task management per project.
@summer_paprikadatalab_walla Give it a go. It is still in early development, but I do think it has potential. https://teamfu.tech/
JIRA is clunky and inconvenient, but does provide reporting in a way that many other task management tools struggle with.
Personally, I prefer Slack and Notion though. I run my own task management out of @sunsamahq though. It can connect into all of those systems
@sunsamahq @xjoshwalker I totally agree with you. I also find Slack and Notion to be more intuitive. The service you recommended sounds really interesting, too. I'll definitely give it a try!
