Design is not what should JUST look good. It has to do that, PLUS make the users and customers do what you want them to do, all on their own. What have you learned in this sweet space of Design + Marketing?

@chemical_bull Agree to that. What is that link you shared? Couldn't get the relevance here.

It is interesting that there are professions that are trying to maximally divide by obligation and make proffellnye specialists who perform a small range of tasks, but not design. In design every year people discuss what else a designer should be able to do. That it is development, that it is illustration, that it is 3D, that it is marketing. There are very few generalists. I think such requests should satisfy the desires of the designer. If he is interested in something other than design, then let him study. But I am not in favour of trying to make a designer a Swiss knife. Let qualified and specially trained people be responsible for these tasks.

@ruslan_kulikov Yeah, it's great to be specialized in a skill. I like your perspective. A designer who not only designs beautiful experiences, but also understands the end use of those designs (actions like getting customers to buy) will be able to craft something actually useful. Especially in a business use case, such a designer would matter more. What do you say?
