What organic social media channel like Instagram worked for you in the past along with the PH launch and why? I am using mainly Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn where I connect with new and existing followers/subscribers who will likely become a user of my app. Thank you, Eren

We are using mainly LinkedIn, but also YouTube. We tried also Twitter and Facebook in the past, but it didn't bring much traffic.

I still find it weird to call Twitter = X for some reason lol

For actually generating leads, LinkedIn has been a great tool for us. But for brand awareness, TikTok has been super useful. We found a good niche and have seen our reach expand since building a TikTok following. (For context, we are a B2B SaaS company)

@shezzy04 it was really just trial and error. We started off by looking at the TikTok channels of companies we liked - not necessarily direct competitors, but other tech and SaaS companies. From there, we experimented with different video formats, sounds etc. It took a little while, but slowly it became apparent what worked for our audience. Also, we tried to post fairly consistently, which helped us grow our audience.

@melissa_hugel Out of curiosity how did you go about finding your niche?

Organic social media channels" typically refer to the use of social media platforms in a non-paid, natural, and authentic manner to connect with your audience. Organic social media channels are primarily focused on building relationships, sharing valuable content, and engaging with your followers without relying on paid advertising. Here are some key organic social media channels: Facebook: Posting updates, sharing content, responding to comments and messages, and building a community through a Facebook Page or Group. Twitter: Tweeting, retweeting, and engaging with followers to create conversations and share information. Instagram: Sharing visually appealing photos and videos, using relevant hashtags, and engaging with followers through comments and stories. LinkedIn: Building a professional network, sharing industry insights, and participating in discussions in relevant LinkedIn groups. Pinterest: Creating and curating visual content, such as pins and boards, to inspire and engage with a community. YouTube: Uploading video content, engaging with comments, and building a subscriber base. Reddit: Participating in discussions (subreddits) and sharing valuable content while following community guidelines. Snapchat: Sharing ephemeral content, such as photos and videos, with a younger and more engaged audience. TikTok: Creating short, engaging videos to connect with a younger demographic. Quora: for more information: https://britseopro.co.uk/ Answering questions and providing expertise on topics relevant to your industry or interests. Tumblr: Creating and sharing multimedia content, including text, images, and GIFs, to engage with a niche audience. Medium: Publishing articles and blog posts to share insights and expertise with a broader readership. When using organic social media channels, it's important to focus on content quality, consistency, and engagement. Building a genuine and active online community requires time and effort, but it can lead to long-term benefits, including increased brand awareness, customer loyalty, and word-of-mouth marketing.

Hey Eren, It's always exciting to hear about multi-channel strategies! From our experience at GrowthX, we've seen startups experience success with different combinations based on their target audience. Product Hunt + Instagram: Instagram has indeed proven effective when paired with a Product Hunt launch for many. Visual content, especially stories or reels highlighting your app's features or user testimonials, can boost initial traction. The key lies in the synergy: teasing the launch on Instagram a few days prior and then leveraging the buzz from PH to keep the momentum. Considering Your Platforms: TikTok: If your app has visual or interactive elements, quick TikTok demos can work wonders. YouTube: Deep dives or tutorials can set the foundation for trust, especially if you're targeting a more professional demographic. LinkedIn: Perfect for B2B or professional tools. Sharing user testimonials or case studies post-PH launch can solidify credibility. Now, to make this even more impactful, how about we at GrowthX provide a tailored strategy? Our expertise lies in amplifying organic growth, ensuring you not only connect with your audience but also convert them. We could help refine your messaging, content strategy, and ensure each platform you're on works cohesively towards your app's success. Would love to chat more about this. Let's see how we can make your next PH launch even more stellar! Warm regards, Jan
