We were working on a project and the crucial part was the integration of the Twitter API. It was not hard to do that and it was free. Than Elon took over and charged and absurd price to try and get rid of bots. I get it, but then we couldn't finish what we started...

@luka_brzin same thing happened to me. The API cost was way too high to offer a free tier so we gave up and left X out of all our plans.

@luka_brzin We experienced a similar issue, Hurree directly integrates with user tools to create dashboards and Twitter has caused so many issues especially after it turned to X 🫣

@intesar_mohammed I find the performance and lack of consistency with APIs is a real headache tbh. My product Hurree relies on these connections so users can easily build reporting dashboards but some tools like YouTube, Shopify and GSC have major issues with their API and their developers just seem to not want to hear about it 🙄

Ensuring backward compatibility is my top concern, as it directly impacts the user experience and integration efforts for existing clients. Additionally, clear and timely communication of changes is crucial to allow users to adapt without disruption.

My top concern when releasing API updates, aside from security, is ensuring backward compatibility to prevent breaking existing client integrations. It's crucial to maintain a smooth transition for users, minimizing disruptions to their workflows.
