Pricing or no pricing from the beginning?

Hey everyone,
I'm working on a SaaS tailored for the developers (https://webhks.com) and although I have the product itself in place, I'm struggling with promotion and pricing.
First and foremost - do you think it's important to have the pricing set up right from the beginning?
My idea was to get back to this question once I have at least some active users that would validate the idea, but at the same time I can totally see how missing pricing can spook customers

Charge from the very beginning, unless there is true value in building a loyal user base like Adobe Photoshop did.
It's the only way to know if you're building something valuable or something worth paying for. Otherwise, it's just a theory, and your idea is not truly validated.
We are launching our marketplace for sign-ups come July 17th and the plan is to charge when we launch on PH in the Fall our full functional marketplace. Follow for updates on our launch happening in 5 days since as first-time founders we are eager for the learnings and feedback.

We went freemium from the start, wanted to get people in the door first. Could argue both ways though.
