Pricing our product

We have built an interactive elearning and training platform that creates courses and provides sales training on the clients own data. We have a couple of clients (major national tourist boards) within our main niche and I am looking to grow this out on a much larger scale. As we use openAI api's to carry out some functions, the costs are difficult to estimate so are considering our monthly costs. I can only see a 'pay per use' as the best option to ensure we are not exposed to over usage. This will allow us to have a lower price point and potential exposure to a larger client base. Can anyone share any experience on this approach?

Interesting strategy! Using a 'pay per use' model can indeed attract a wider client base while managing costs effectively. It's a smart move considering the unpredictable nature of AI costs. Leveraging this flexibility could be a game-changer for scaling up your platform. Good luck with your expansion!

You can use some techniques: - Create a random email and ask for a service (that same you do/offer), asking another company will give you an hint - Check the cost structure, server, hosting, domain, licenses, your time, your material (like your PC and so on, if you had to rent it how much would it cost) + add a 15% margin profit in the overall because you want to make money not to sell at cost level - Check what is the cost structure for the user or customer, e-learning let's say that a student needs to have a tutor, so to go to a tutor, has to pay the tutor, but also move from one location to another, that costs time and money, so if you have a way to do it online, and if the learning is high quality (like Masterclass platform) you pay for convenience and for content quality Those are 3 options, but tune always in limits, the lowest level and the highest level, and see where your fits. Hope it helps ;)

You should try to estimate the cost, and monitor for any bias. If your solution gives value to the customer, increasing the price if you need won't be a problem.

Thank you so much for the information. These suggestions were good, and I also want you to suggest this https://ukwritings.com/ website to make your writing work easier. It is called ukwritings. I am suggesting them because I have used them for my PhD work. The writers were professional, and whenever I found any difficulty in my work, they helped me so well and calmly that it felt so easy to do. For students like us who are stuck in essay writing or coursework, ukwritings are the best in their work. I am so happy that I found them.
