Product Hunt promoting a specific launch! Is this (the new) normal?

Hu all, Today I have launched Fusion: https://www.producthunt.com/posts/apyhub-fusion We are kind of unlucky int he sense that we are launching the same day as Figma AI and Figma Slides. And thats fine so far. However, I was surprised to see that PH included Figma in their newsletter including a link to support the product! Am I irrational to consider this a promoted launch? Your ideas please :) P.S thanks for your support everyone :)

They do this all the time, if I understand what you're saying. In the newsletter they high highlight products they think are remarkable -- big products, or little products that don't even have many upvotes. Whatever the editorial team thinks is interesting or useful.
