    Hi there, I'm a Product enthusiast (and a corporate guy) hustling to build something where my Industrial experience and skills lie. Need your take on my idea (will greatly value any feedback) The Concept - Build a robust SAAS platform which only stores Resumes of applicants and matches recruiters with the best talents as per their given requirements (any criteria ranging from Age, Exp. to Skills, Past employment) Now this concept does have parallels to LinkedIn recruiter but its value preposition lies in the technology! 1) The AI enabled system would use NLP libraries like NLTK or spaCy to extract keywords and info. from resumes and store parsed data in a structed format in the database. 2) A robust search algorithm to match recruiter's criteria with resume keywords. The main aim is not to facilitate users with any social community or talents rigorously applying to job postings but recruiters getting accurate spot-on talents within seconds, thus recruiting efficiently. Open to all views and any kind of contributions to this.

    It's primary a supply and demand problem. So the recruiters wants the best employees. And the applicants wants best jobs. It's not as much of a mapping attributes to fit the requirement. So the problem becomes a marketing one. How do you fill up the website with quality jobs and quality applicants. Usually what happens if you bootstrap this is that it gets filled with low quality applicants and low quality jobs. And then eventually folds. However. Making a matching algorithm like your propose is interesting in it self. Maybe partner with existing marketplaces? instead of bootstrapping it?

    @sentry_co Yes, market research and product idea validation is indeed the most important thing to do at such early stage. I am currently employed in this same industry (HR Tech) (2+ years of professional experience) and have been researching on this idea's potential since months. I's indulged in discussions with the industry folks and now somewhat confident in laying one step ahead towards building this.

    @sentry_co Thank you for the feedback. Surely I resonate with your concern of the initial bootstrapping for such platform. The major concern before any strategic partnership lies in developing an MVP, me being from a non-tech background holds this as a bigger hurdle. I have a descent network in the HR Tech space, maybe partnering with tech savvy folks who aligns with the model idea can help in achieving this roadpath.

    @ruhan_mishra I think you can validate the idea before building anything. Do lots of research on current status quo of the matching tech you propose. And then figure out how you are changing the game. Finding people that wants to join you on your journey isn't hard. But validating, researching, finding partnerships and paying customers before having built anything is. The mistake is often that people think they have to build anything first.

    @ruhan_mishra then formalize the idea and start pitching VCs and incubators. Today its actually possible to Get funding with just an idea, you will Also Get valuable feedback to tweak idea and plan further.

    @sentry_co Indeed great suggestion. I won't deny the valuable assistance founders get from established incubators/accelerators, however I am still looking to partner up with dedicated individuals, in order to formulate a raw viable model of the idea which would give me an edge while pitching it to such incubators. I have experience of working under an Incubator firm for my first startup back in 2019 and eventually it turned out to be good learning for me.
