Traffic is more tangible

When deciding between focusing on a "Product of the Day" or driving traffic for your website, consider how each option aligns with your business goals. A "Product of the Day" can create urgency and boost sales, while driving consistent traffic helps build long-term visibility and engagement. If you’re looking to run your business efficiently from anywhere, a virtual office setup in Dubai can provide a professional business address and essential services to enhance your online presence, making it easier to attract and retain customers.

I would choose traffic over the the badge. Because the badge can loose the status over time.
But traffic can lead to the purchase. :)
Have reconciled to the reality that 'Product of the Day' is not going to manifest itself and there's a lot of prior spadework that needs to get done. So while Traffic is the Holy Grail, what I'd be keen for my product's launch would be - "Qualitative" FEEDBACK and VALIDATION.
It's the equivalent to a "SHARE" button on social while the others are only vanity metrics.
Traffic to website for sure!
Launching soon!
This is tough for me. My ego tells me Product of the Day, but my logical side tells me traffic. I also think that Product of the Day can give your product a good reputation.
Traffic is key, but you gotta convert those visits to customers! Optimize your site, nail your messaging, and give people a reason to stay. AI tools like Jasper.ai can definitely help craft compelling web copy to boost conversions.

@william_gerorge couldn’t agree more. Do you offer a particular partnership?
Getting more traffic can definitely help boost the visibility and reputation of your product. But at the end of the day, the quality of your product matters most for long-term success. Focus on both - create an awesome product and leverage SEO, content marketing, etc. to drive qualified traffic.
Definitely traffic, because on this stage I need feedback from customers
"Both are important, but they serve different purposes. Being named 'Product of the Day' on platforms like Product Hunt provides valuable exposure and social proof, helping to build credibility and attract early users. On the other hand, driving consistent traffic to our website is crucial for long-term growth and maintaining engagement with our community. Ideally, we aim to balance both—using features like Product of the Day to boost initial visibility, while focusing on ongoing traffic to build a sustainable and loyal user base."
I think traffic is more important because being product of the day is like beer on your birthday, where as traffic for your business site is like water you need everyday.
it is what it is.
Of course, traffic, as it is more likely to lead to a purchase
I would choice Traffic because that will initiate the connection that could lead to product purchases.
