I would say there is no such thing as a ”full” release. That is because product development is a never ending serie of iterations. But at one point you have to say ”good enough” and release it. Anyway, it is always good to do an external beta test to get feedback. You may also get a few users that are really enthusiastic about your product that can act as ambassadors and promote it.

@stpe That is very true. It is a bunch of mini-releases. I'm thinking about it in like a beta being free to work out the kink then the "full " release would become paid type of model.

depends on the type of product. if its a plane. then the full release 😅

Beta is a good to understand if the product is needed/solving the problem and how is the market big. At the same time you can get beta users that can help you guide how to make the product better.

@relja_denic Love that. I'm thinking of using early beta users to help me prioritize what specific features and companies I add to the product first.

Definitely releasing beta first, you can get more traffic.

@jakeharr Because you can slowly build it over time? I guess it kinda of similar in a way to a soft opening for a restaurant or hotel to workout the kinks too.

if you launch a "full product" you probably launched too late 😅 Keep it simple, get feedback early, iterate.

@fvates Great point! There will always be a reason to hold up a launch. Better to just get it up and iterate!

Beta first if U wanna 1: hype it and 2: make final version more stable

Currently doing a beta release. I think the feedback is worth it in my opinion!
