Having a solid go to market strategy with at least 3 month leeway helps with proper planning and execution.

Hey Dave, it's all about building community here. Engage in discussions, take the time to really have a look at other launches and provide helpful comments, follow folks you find interesting, etc.
You cannot start early enough with this.
I also recommend connecting on LinkedIn with people, so you can message them about your launch directly when the day is there.
