What kind of work are you doing for Google Maps?
@mustafa_aydemir I usual complete the company's full information, choose the right categories, add photos and educate my client on how to publish news in GMB. Finally, I recommend getting customer opinion with a detail of the services and build a NAPs.
There are 2 ways of doing onpage SEO, the normal everyday slow way and the faster way, so an expert Slavic guy should know how to do it the faster way
What are quality backlinks and how do major them?
@expert_app_devs The best backlinks are links that have been added on other sites because you've published quality content on your page.

If I am revamping my website, what are the critical SEO considerations of migrating from the old site to the new one?
I am very tempted just to burn everything and build from scratch again
@anson_leung The biggest mistakes you can make when migrating is not implementing the right redirects to the new version of the page. Sometimes redirects are intentionally not implemented, but usually we should redirect 1:1 (with 301).

With the constant change in the algorithm of Google search engine 1) how do you stay constantly updated? 2) what analytical metric do you focus on so that your content can remain ranked throughout all SEO updates?
@rupin_mathur Ohh, the only constant in SEO is change - that's a fact 😉
To keep up to date with the SEO of my domains, I track the visibility of keywords in the TOP10 and the traffic the domains generate. If I see any fluctuations, then I try to verify if there are any technical errors. Of course, I also follow announcements from google's website and threads on SEO portals such as https://www.seroundtable.com/ or https://www.searchenginejournal..... If I see announces about fluctuations I focus more on observing results.
The main metrics for me are the number of ranking words in the top10 (overall), positions for the most important words (money keywords) and generated traffic.
@rupin_mathur Hi, It would mean the world to us if you could spare 30s of your time and check out the product that Adam and his team built. The link is in Adam's post :)

@adam_skrzypekv Thanks so much for the answer.
@rupin_mathur If you'd like, do message me on LinkedIn to discuss this further :)
How hard have you found it to be to rank in the first page?
I find we have a lot of content that gets impressions with an average page position 70-80 in google search console which to us means we have content people are not looking the answer for in the first google search pages.
Also, anything you can share that someone doing SEO for the first time could learn from would be very appreciated (we are just two in our startup and none of us is an SEO expert)
@adam_skrzypekv Yes, that's also what I'm slowly realising. Most article we find makes it seem like you make those small changes and everything improves over night making you an overnight success... Well, I guess reality tends to be more complicated than that :)
But thanks a lot for the help, and looking forward to seeing you guys reach massive success. Best of luck with the launch! :)
@nuno_ms_reis Tell me, what is your business and how long has your website been online?
If the topics of your sector allow it, you should have a blog where you publish articles that answer people's problems. For example, if you have a fashion shop, you should write about how to choose the right style of dress for the occasion, about trends and so on. In this way, in the eyes of Google, you will be a kind of 'knowledge base' on the subject of dresses and it will treat you as a recommended source (in the search results).
In fact, you should do research the topics you should cover. This is where our tool https://www.producthunt.com/post... can be useful to you, which identify the article topics that should be published in a given subject category. Along with the list, we show you SEO-relevant parameters such as searches, which will ensure that you know whether such topics are searched for at all by users.
In additional to topic research, you should ensure that your website is technically optimized - that it is accessible to search engine bots and that your content contains keywords (money keywords) that define your business and services.
If you have little knowledge of SEO, I would suggest that you read the tutorials available on the web, which tell you at least a little bit about what is important in SEO. Next, I would optimize the site technically to a basic level and then build specialist content using tools such as our Content Planner.
Have a good day and high positions in Google!
@nuno_ms_reis Unfortunately, SEO is a time-consuming process. If you want to do your SEO yourself - you have to be patient with the results. However, by publishing high-quality content that addresses user problems, they will definitely come.
I am keeping my fingers crossed for you! All the best!
@adam_skrzypekv I've just checked, may very well register and try it out next week. Thanks for sharing.
As for our business we are building software for growth professionals to simplify their documentation needs and enable better collaboration between teams and within their organizations :) And the website has been online for a bit over 1 month I believe at uptiq.app (with lots of changes in between).

Firstly thanks Adam, great initiative! Would you suggest posting blogs/articles etc. on your own website mainly to increase SEO or are their other platforms for posting can could generate a larger amount of SEO or traffic. i.e. Quora/Reddit? Etc.
@vin_creatorstock Publish the most expert content on your blog. On external portals, post a sneak peek of these articles or shortened versions with a link to your blog.
You can also test this two solutions you're thinking of, but from an SEO perspective, it's best to post the content on your site and get links to it from other portals.
