SEO vs Etics - how to handle that battle?

I'm launching a new project. In the beginning, we want to focus on SEO and content marketing. We work hard on building quality content but looking at other services, there is a lot of content like:
10 Best survey tools
15 SurveyMonkey alternatives for 2023
5 Best Customer experience surveys
....
I understand the logic behind that, but when I'm searching for some tools comparison and find an article on ToolA blog with ToolA in the first place, I have mixed feelings.
What are your thoughts on that? Is there a future for that kind of content?

The best way to handle the battle between SEO and Ethics is to find a balance between them. Utilize SEO tactics that are ethical, such as creating high-quality content that is relevant to your audience. Use SEO practices that are in line with your company’s ethical principles, such as avoiding keyword stuffing and other shady tactics. Finally, use SEO to promote ethical practices and values, such as creating content that is informative and helpful to readers.

@jaynmehta thanks for your answer!
I agree with you, and that approach is close to my beliefs. On the other hand, I see that some non-ethical practices are paying off and gives a lot of traffic. Still, my recent thought is to play the game and make non-ethical practices as ethical as possible.
