Should I promote the product during MVP stage？

I am currently developing an AI comic tool that is still in the MVP stage. The current results are not perfect, but I hope to gain exposure to attract some users to help me test it. It would be great if I could build a community interested in AI comics. What should I do? Should I contact some media outlets or influencers to introduce my project?
