Bluesky passed 20M signups, thanks to dissatisfied X users.

It reminds me of the Threads rush earlier... Which quickly faded away.

Is there space for a new text Social Platform? WDYT?

Every new social media has it harder to stay on the market for a longer period of time.

The highlight is that you can connect with new people and re-connect with them on others (more established platforms).

We will see what happens in next few weeks.

i registered but im still quite confused of hate towards X and Trump and Mask .. imho any hate will fade away with the social media

It's just another Thread app. Not gonna succeed fr. Twitter is just too much for any social medias now. Elon is doing fab job. So I don't think it will succeed like Twitter but might work well in some market

@techwith_ram on that topic my concern with Bluesky is particularly that it is a total clone of x  - UI and UX so might confuse people

@busmark_w_nika true, and I feel there is space for new ways of social interactions (and not the same MRR or framework or over shared stuff ) 
I just hope people don’t go to Bluesky only to copy paste old tweets

@toni_pm That's the problem right. because Twitter just reached extreme nos. of users around the globe. So, even if someone will wants to switch from Twitter to new ones, they will feel nothing different than twitter. So, after some days that app becomes useless.

So, Bluesky? Yeah or Nay ?
