Sometimes I just feel like I'm drowning in all the info my brain is downloading online - does anyone else feel that? What do you do to get past it and refocus yourself?

I just build some AI tools that summarize everything for me 😅 For example, I tried to stay up to date with 3 tech newsletters but couldn't read them all (and most times they'd mention the same things). So I just built a tool that will read them for me and summarize it all in bullet points (with links in case I want to go deeper).

@richardreeze That sounds very interesting. I'll check out your tool now! I built a tool that I also hope will help, mostly with social media scolling: https://www.producthunt.com/post...

all notifications — off imagine you have to choose only 3 best resources to follow — do it (if you'll miss the ones you left behind, then they're worth it) try to start noticing how refreshed your brain becomes after a walk in the park (etc) without your phone — this will help you gradually shift to a mode of less information consumption

@kszhebrovskaya The walk in the park is so underrated! I also built this free app to save myself from scrolling YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, etc: https://www.producthunt.com/post...

Information overload can be overwhelming! When I feel like I’m drowning in data, I try a few strategies to regain focus: -Prioritize: Focus on the most important stuff first. -Break It Down: Handle information in small chunks. -Take Breaks: Step away from screens to clear my mind. -Use Tools: Apps like Evernote help keep things organized. -Limit Sources: Cut out less relevant info to reduce the clutter.

Only by stop consuming. Feeling overloaded means it's time to let your subconscious to deal with already absorbed information.

@darya_tochsheva Well put. I think we don't spend enough time to let the subconscious go to work. I think this tool I built will help give us more time for that: https://www.producthunt.com/post...

Take regular breaks to clear your mind and avoid being overwhelmed by too much information at once.

@al_ex_bravo That's great advice. I've also built this app to shut down feeds by default that works great to filter out a lot of the overload: https://www.producthunt.com/post...

I limit my news and social media time to specific parts of the day. Also, using a to-do list keeps me on track with my priorities.

@safina_seth That sounds like a great method. I built this tool to help make my social media time more productive as well: https://www.producthunt.com/post...

Yes it gets overwhelming for me when situations like this happen! What I normally do is group the information and then tackle it one group at a time
