Hire for culture add (not fit), give ownership early, celebrate small wins together.
Build trust, share common goals, have faith in your team and ofc the glue that sticks together an entire team; Strong, Transparent communication.
Definitely build trust and have each other's backs. Make sure everyone is rowing in the same direction and bought into the vision. Over-communicate and be fully transparent, even when it's uncomfortable. And don't forget to celebrate the wins together!
Building a strong team is all about hiring people with complementary skillsets who are passionate about the mission. Spend a lot of time on the interview process to really get to know candidates. Look for self-starters with grit who are great communicators. Fostering psychological safety and open communication is key. Empower the team and give them autonomy. Lead by example with strong work ethic. Team building activities and celebrating wins together helps bond the team. Just my 2 cents!
