Hey Product Hunt Community ❤️ Recently I had a guest article in Starter Story, where I shared a launch system that helped to get the first $ online without any budget. It might be interesting for PH community, too. Also, there's an opportunity for a discussion. So, I'm sharing the key steps and thoughts. Feel free to ask any questions! 1. Find problems people dream of solving. The most common mistake is to start with ideas, not with problems. Hard truth: if a product doesn’t solve any problem, users don’t need it. Generate problems -> Prioritize Problems -> Generate Solutions -> Prioritize Solutions. 2. Understand everything about your target audience and competitors. It’s time for market research. Skip this step if you want to spend months building a product nobody needs. Here’re 2 musts: analyze your target audience and your competitors. 3. Create a positioning that sells. Positioning is the most important part of your marketing. It influences all your future marketing activities. So, define your positioning based on the research from step 2. 4. Tell people about your idea. Before you build, test the demand. Even proper marketing research can lead to wrong conclusions. Testing the demand will be the final proof (Wait List or Early Bird). 5. Warm up your audience. Finally, there’s a green light to build the product. But don’t forget to warm up your audience with expert content. Overwise, they won’t be ready to buy. 6. Leverage user feedback to supercharge your launch. You built a product and made a landing page. Time to launch? Not yet. And here’s why. You need to make sure that your product and landing page are ready for the big launch. Time to do beta tests. 7. Make some noise by launching your product everywhere. Product Hunt (the most powerful 👑), Beta-List, Indie Hackers, AppSumo, Notion Everything, and others. 8. Grow your product to get new sales every day. The launch will boost website visitors, but it will last for one week. So, don’t forget to move further to create consistent cash flow. You can focus on getting more visitors or improving the offer. Thank you for sharing, Sveta! > 1. Find problems people dream of solving. I might be wrong on this one, but, sometimes, people don't really know they have a problem to be solved. So, any advice on how makers can find these problems?

@basv indeed, 😂 that make sense. Conducting interviews is, indeed, the best way for spotting the real problem behind people's wishes, but, if you don't make the right questions, it might be hard to get to the right answers, therefore leading to poor assumptions, IMHO! So, apart from using the "5 whys" technique, would you suggest any other strategy to conduct those interviews in a friendly and casual way?

can't agree more. I feel it's so funny that no matter whether people want to launch a product, create content, or plan a career path, analyzing themselves, their "customers", and the market landscape is always the first step. People always say if you buy a house, location location location; I will say if you create something(content\product\career path), it's positioning positioning positioning

I may be off-base on this one, however, here and there, individuals don't actually realize they have an issue to be tackled. All in all, any exhortation on how producers can track down these issues? https://essentialsclothing.co/ho...
