The AI Divide: Will GPT Pro Deepen Knowledge Inequality?

As AI tools rapidly evolve, we’re seeing services like GPT Pro emerge, offering incredible productivity and efficiency advantages—for a price. At $200 per month, those who can afford such tools may find themselves far ahead, while others could be left behind.
This reminds me of traditional educational inequalities: families who can invest in private education often see their children excel, while those who cannot are at a disadvantage. Over time, this gap only grows.
Currently, I personally benefit from using AI tools in my work—they significantly boost my productivity. However, I can’t help but worry about the long-term societal implications. If access to advanced tools remains tied to high costs, won’t this further widen the gap between those who have access and those who don’t?
