💰The Evolution of E-commerce: messenger ecosystem? 🌏

Last week I wanted to buy new sneakers and went to a telegram group a friend recommended to me. I liked some sneakers and wanted to buy them, but opening their website from my phone was disgusting,🤢 I was like “ahhhhh, I'll do it at home with my mac”. Maybe I'll buy elsewhere”.
But then I mentioned the ‘store’ button right in telegram and it wasn't just a typical bot, but a real store with a web view, user-friendly, responsive, no ads, great design and right INTO telegram. I could see my messages in the background. 🤖
And you know what? I bought these sneakers right away, because it was really easy! I hate telegram shop bots, but these was made in another way. I think this situation is what we call CLIENT RETENTION and only this aspect helped them to take my money. 🫵
I stared to think about other possible scenarios with this new type of e-commerce... whats app? telegram? new shops, new sources? 🤔
You can say, Boris, we already have a lot of e-shops on Facebook, Instagram and etc, but tell me, how OFTEN do you buy products right from it? Of course, my experience can't represent the entire market, but I personally or my friends are of the same opinion. 🫥
Also, I've heard a lot of negative feedback on Instagram and Facebook stores from the vendor side. It's very difficult to create, maintain and retain customers there. 🤬
Long story short I think we are on the threshold of a new era of online shopping and messenger ecosystems. 🪐
What do you think about it?

I have read about experiences where people have faced scams more often than not. Do you think there is a way to identify?

@neha_kulshreshtha You know, it's a very interesting point.
First of all, we need to look at how this brand positions itself on social media, etc. I mean, I won't buy anything from a very cool online store unless I see their instagram, telegram, user feedback or even landing page/website etc. Good marketing is the key to success.
Secondly, you have to look at the security measures. How do they provide payment service. The best option is to see that they are integrated with the most popular services.
There are a lot of scam shops and if you pay attention to the most popular aspects (like I mentioned before) you will be safe.
I used to be skeptical about buying stuff directly from messengers, but hearing your story, maybe I’ve been missing out

@vladimir_tambovtsev Just try it, I can send you later some shops as an example and you can see it with your eyes 👀
I had a similar experience buying a vinyl record and honestly, it was ridiculously smooth. No switching apps, no loading screens, just tap, pay, done. 🙌
