The impact of zk proofs on degrees

Recently Zero-Knowledge (zk) based gaming is taking the internet, and more specifically the Web3 world by a storm. But zk has applications in a wide range of things where the use case is to conceal participants’ private information while guaranteeing honest system interaction. I am interested in hearing thoughts from anyone who thinks zk proof might have applications on how we think about education degrees and the future of credentialing.
