The solo founder's dilemma - juggling multiple roles

Juggling multiple roles is no joke. One day, you're a builder. The next, you're a marketer. How do you personally prioritize what needs be working on? There are some frameworks like the Eisenhower Matrix that help with this. I've used this personally. Would love to hear your approaches!

Or flip it on its head. In school we do this constantly. Gym, Sci, Math, English, Arts, Fighting a bully πŸ˜…. It's the non founders that are in trouble, doing the same over and over πŸ˜… Solo founders are the lucky ones! Can you imagine doing just one thing πŸ˜…?

Launching soon!
I always remind myself to take my time and not rush things. As a solo founder, it's best to play the long term game

Prioritize tasks, delegate when possible, and maintain a clear focus to navigate the challenges of juggling multiple roles as a solo founder.

@xeno1 I hear you! It does get better overtime, but can say that there's no one-size fits all approach. :)

First let me say that I find it very rewarding to do both building and marketing. For me, it's mostly quite clear when to do what, and I don't plan this much. This is not to say that it is easy of course...

@konrad_sx For sure, Konrad! Definitely not easy, and takes practice to build that rhythm.

I totally get where you're coming from. Juggling multiple roles as a solo founder can be overwhelming at times. Personally, I prioritize my tasks by focusing on the most impactful and urgent ones first. The Eisenhower Matrix has been a game-changer for me as well. It helps me categorize tasks based on their importance and urgency, allowing me to tackle them more efficiently. In addition to that, I also use the "Eat That Frog" technique, where I tackle the most challenging task first thing in the morning. Once that's out of the way, the rest of the day seems much more manageable. How about you? What approaches have you found most effective in managing your multiple roles? Looking forward to hearing more about your strategies!

@stylar_max Oh, yes! The "Eat That Frog" technique is also a great one. Those first couple hours are important.
