Those with young kids, how do you find enough time for your projects?

I must admit, I'm struggling a bit here. By the time I finish off my family responsibilities and spend time with my little one, I feel like I hardly have any time left to get in the zone while building. Don't get me wrong, I love every minute I spend with the fam and won't trade it for anything in the world.

Is anyone else going through the same thing? Any pointers on how you manage it all?

It's so so hard. I have 3 kids (2-8 yrs) and it's a constant juggling act. The time between their bedtime and mind tends to be prime project time in our house, but I often find it hard to find the energy in the evenings or that it's just too small a block of time. No great solutions on how to manage it all... just agreement that it's hard and fluctuates so much week-to-week based on the family needs. A silver lining: I've never been better at only doing the important and ditching busy work.

Good point about doing the important and ditching busy work, I think I need to start distinguishing between the two better.

As a parent with young kids, finding time for my projects can be a challenge, but I prioritize my tasks and use small pockets of time throughout the day to make progress and achieve my goals.

I always work when they are asleep. 11pm till 3am or 4am. I like the peace and able to focus. 😉
