To PLG, or not to PLG?

Building a product-led (self-service) product is tons of fun, and our users love it - but it's also really hard. I've had other founders ask me for tips because they want to try PLG after doing sales, and it seems as if they think it's a shortcut. It's not - PLG takes time. Actually, my answer to founders that usually, they should stick to sales. It's much easier. Still - there are some cases in which PLG is probably the better way.
