Starting conversations early, especially in spaces where the target audience hangs out (like Product Hunt, LinkedIn, and Slack communities), makes a huge difference. Itโs not about selling it's more about building genuine connections and understanding what potential users care about. This builds a supportive network thatโs excited about your launch.

Creating a landing page or simple sign-up form to capture early interest has been a game-changer. I keep subscribers updated with behind-the-scenes looks, making them feel part of the journey. This group often turns into the first adopters and biggest supporters on launch day.

I dedicate time to reaching out to connections who would benefit from the product. A simple, personalized note about why I think theyโll love it is much more effective than mass messaging. Itโs time-consuming, but quality engagement often beats quantity.

Once the launch day buzz fades, I (and my team) continue engaging with the community, gathering feedback, and iterating. Iโve seen that keeping momentum after launch helps in sustaining growth and building a loyal user base.

Great tips, Hamza! Iโve found that early community engagement is a game-changer tooโitโs not just about creating buzz but about building real excitement and trust. One thing Iโd add is collaborating with other makers or creators before and during the launch. Cross-promotion with people whose audience aligns with yours can bring unexpected traction.
As for launch day on Product Hunt, one unexpected thing that worked for me was actively participating in discussions on other launches. It brought genuine interactions and even redirected some traffic to my product. Did you notice anything like that too?
