In the real world, people don’t like to pay for what they get for free. Think about the following scenario: When you visit a website and get free information without registration, how much time do you spend on that site? You will try to get as much information as possible without registering yourself. But one thing remains constant: Your attention span is limited. People can pay up to $500 a year for the same service they get for free. But still, they won’t do it unless you give them some incentive to do so. So, you should first use the free plan to build your customer base and then provide them with the incentive to upgrade their plan to paid one. By doing so, you will increase your profit.
