Twitter no doubt!

Problem with LI is that it's too busy. There's a ton of automated InMail etc. and it's hard to know if anyone's actually interested in talking. Also, all kinds of people have clout in LI for some reason.
X is different. Everyone is there, and for some reason, they're more open to talking. I have had great success in engaging on X and pushing to a call, sale etc. It does take work though, and you have to reply-guy or you'll never get anywhere as a brand.
Linkedin for work, Twitter for fun.
LinkedIn in India. For B2C brands, Instagram works. I used Twitter (now X) when I was in the PR fraternity to connect with journalists.
@varun_bhagath I agree about Instagram. But Twitter doesn't work for sales in India?
@nickanisimov Both Twitter and LinkedIn aren't very cost effective, but with LinkedIn atleast you can 'precision target' your audience.
For me, it depends on the goal:
• Twitter (or X) is great for building quick connections and sharing bite-sized insights.
• LinkedIn is perfect for deeper conversations, professional networking, and showcasing thought leadership.
I use both, but curious—which one’s been more effective for you?
@inid_leksina I have a similar point of view, but for now LinkedIn is more effective for me, although I spend more time on Twitter.

I’ve been on Twitter for over a year, but I haven’t really been active on LinkedIn.
@nategecko The audience of these social networks is too different, which, to be honest, surprised me.
linkedin for sure! 99% of my clients come from linkedin
Linkedin in our case
I've seen more success engaging people on Twitter too. LinkedIn feels too noisy and formal. On Twitter, if you provide value in your tweets and engage thoughtfully, people are definitely more open to further discussion. It does require consistent effort to build your brand presence though. Gotta be active and put yourself out there rather than just lurking.

Twitter for developer connections, LinkedIn for B2B networking & leads

LinkedIn taught me more ways to think.
LinkedIn only. Never succeeded to stay on any other online social media. :)
I think both Twitter and LinkedIn can help your business grow, but each platform serves a different purpose and audience.
For your business, if you’re looking to reach professionals, potential clients, or partners, LinkedIn could be more effective. However, if you want to engage with a wider audience, especially for quick updates, Twitter would be better
