Once I asked what are the most common reasons to unsubscribe.
The most common reasons why people unsubscribed were:
๐ spammy newsletter (too many links),
๐ the purpose behind signing up for the newsletter no longer exists,
๐ "boring" โ the same content,
๐ too many emails in a short time,
๐ information overwhelm to name a few.

As a creator, it is crucial to me to know what people like/donโt like so that I can improve.
What can we do about it?
From my side:
โ Asking for feedback (DMs)
โ Creating a poll/survey
โ Brainstorming with my current/possible subscribers (or ChatGPT) ๐
From your side:
โ When you unsubscribe, give a reason (what you didnโt like).
โ Let the creator know in DMs or reply in the newsletter what you liked (because the creator can do more of those)

Why should you care about "Why people are unsubscribing from your newsletter"?
When you have a lot of subs it's impossible to please every taste.
Focus on your side + a few but respected people.
And do what works for you.
