I often find myself watching too much TikTok and YouTube late at night. What do you tend to watch too much of? How do you deal with it?

Is this an intervention? nervously glances at phone usage stats Look, I can quit anytime... just gotta finish this level, scroll through one more meme account, and maybe finally see what that notification from 2017 says.

1,440 hours? That's cute. smiles maniacally at phone screen while muttering about achievements in a mobile game Sleep is for the weak. The strong swipe left.
1,440 Hours? Those are rookie numbers! holds phone sideways in bed Gotta pump those numbers up. Pretty sure I've single-handedly kept the flashlight industry afloat at this point.
DREAM SHEEP
@christopher_clark8 Rookie numbers!? You’re a professional flashlight holder.
Challenge Accepted! Opens TikTok for the 12th time today Who needs sleep when you can learn 17 new dance routines and watch enough cat videos to fill a swimming pool?

Time for a Digital Detox? 1,440 hours is a wakeup call! Maybe it's time for a digital detox. Let's disconnect for a while, reconnect with the real world, and see what hidden gems we discover beyond the phone screen. Fresh air, nature walks, and face-to-face interactions might be just what we need.
Quality over Quantity? 1,440 hours isn't inherently bad, but it depends on how we use those phone hours. Are we consuming mindless content or actively learning and engaging? Perhaps the key is being more mindful of our phone usage and focusing on high-quality activities that enrich our lives.

minimalist phone: creating folders
For me, it is time spent on Twitter, LinkedIn, PH and YouTube (but YouTube is used also for watching exercising videos so it is for more productive activity).
I may have a PhD in YouTube binge-watching! How do you manage your TikTok and YouTube addiction? Asking for a friend who needs serious phone-detox therapy!

I get lost in Instagram reels. To manage it, I’ve been trying to replace some of that time with reading before bed.
I spend way too much time on Reddit. Using apps like StayFocusd helps me limit my browsing time.
DREAM SHEEP
@arlinda_eastwood I also created an app perfect for limiting browsing time. Could you give me your feedback?

YouTube rabbit holes are my weakness. I’ve started a hobby, like painting, to keep myself away from my phone.
I spend way too much time on Reddit late at night. Usually browsing random subreddits and going down rabbit holes. I try to set app time limits but I always override them. Curious what others do to cut back screen time before bed?
DREAM SHEEP
@jasperelliotsinclair It seems everyone has similar struggles.
I face the same issues, so if you don’t mind, please try the app I created and share your thoughts.
