Web app vs. mobile app (for your product)

This time, we decided to develop an app for our product. So, our AI portrait generator GenYOU will be available as a mobile app.
Our decision to go mobile was based on the fact that most people do quick photo editing on their phones, and our app is designed specifically for that purpose.
What about you? Do you prefer a web app or mobile app for your product? What are the pros and cons?

I love native apps, but they come with a huge downside: their development is much slower compared to web apps.
If you aren't 200% sure how the app will look and work, it'll be better to start with a web app, conduct tons of tests and experiments there, and then create a native app.

I have mobile app but I prefer both, web application and mobile application
Having both web and mobile apps can expand your reach. Web apps are accessible from any device with a browser. Mobile apps provide a native experience and can leverage device features. Many successful products offer both to engage users wherever they are. If you have to pick one to start, consider your target audience and use cases to decide.
Web app—current projects are mostly B2B and optimized for desktop
Why a mobile app would work great for something like GenYOU where quick photo edits are the main focus can be seen. Web apps for certain products are leaned toward because of their larger interface and versatility.
I prefer web app for details work and collaboration, but mobile apps are great for simple, quick tasks.
