Hello ProductHunters, A couple of months ago, our CEO shared an insightful video on YouTube, where he deliberated our shift from Webflow to Framer for our website building needs. After transitioning from WordPress to Webflow only last year, this decision wasn't made on a whim. In his video, Omar discussed the characteristics that drew us to Framer, notably its capacity for collaboration and its freeform canvas which seems to perfectly suit the needs of designers, offering an experience akin to other design tools like Figma and Sketch. That's not to downplay the benefits we've derived from Webflow. In the past, it's contributed to enhancing our design precision, quickening our page development, and providing a manageable content management system. Webflow's customizable features, its API, and community-driven integrations have all been commendable. However, our decision to switch was significantly influenced by one main question: is our team more design-led or development-led when it comes to our website? For us, Framer appeared to align better with our current focus. We're eager to hear your thoughts on this. Do you lean towards Framer or Webflow, and what reasons drive your choice? Are there certain features in these platforms that you find exceptionally valuable? How does your team's focus (whether design-led or development-led) shape your decision? Let's start a conversation. Would love to hear what you think! Watch it here:
