What alternatives to SketchUp or Autodesk 3ds Max do you know?

SketchUp and Autodesk 3ds Maxare very difficult to learn and use + require a powerful computer and serious investment in the purchase of various licenses. There are also a huge number of products for creating layouts or furniture arrangement, but they are either not very accurate or simply obsolete. I would be grateful for your feedback. If you know any interior designers or 3D visualizers - mention them in the comments! We are preparing a product that allows you to do everything from layouts to rendering in one application. No launch date has been set yet, any tips would be appreciated!

I'll be curious if you could update me on your project. I am daydreaming of a software company that would revolutionize architecture practice, with affordable prices, accessible to those living in the Global south. a new software, BRICSCAD was recently launched. But it's more geared towards architecture, not interior design

Some other alternatives to SketchUp and Autodesk 3ds Max are Blender, Maya, and Cinema 4D.

@igor_sadkin I think it will be all about simplification even for professionnals. Making drafting and sketching faster and easier. Most studios don't have the time to learn all the complex functionnalities of the big players. I mean it's fun for geeky people, but here in France we are not paid enough for that. As I said before there are needs in the global south where most people who design are not necessarily professionnals ...

@philipsnyder Thanks By the way, how long do you think it takes an average user without a special background to learn any of the Autodesk products?

@igor_sadkin years for me. those products have a tooooon of features and even as a professional I had to learn new things every week to draw and model my project on Revit or AutoCAD. The best way to learn is to model real projects, not just follow the complete video tutorials, even though those give you a good methodology.

@eve_angelique Thank you for your response. What do you think the future holds for all these products? More details and settings for professionals or simplification and optimization of work scenarios for ordinary users - non-professionals?

As we are using blender for the designing work of https://bestsimoffers.com/ which is better than Autodesk 3ds Max. Although we have also used different others like autodesk, maya etc but at the end we are stick to blender.

I'm particularly interested in Blender. I've heard great things about it, and it's free and open source, which is a big plus for me for https://www.packagesgeek.com/how.... I'm also intrigued by Rhinoceros. It seems to be a bit more powerful than SketchUp, and it has some features that I'm interested in, such as NURBS modeling.
