Good question! I think there needs to be a better way to organize all the content I save (or want to save but don't).
@neri_raanani Instagram has a decent save feature that lets you create your own folders, however, other social media apps are missing basic features like this one.
@neri_raanani Please support me when I launch my platform - this is going to be implemented.

Social media apps are a great way to stay connected with friends, family, and loved ones. But there are a few things that social media apps have always lacked:
-The ability to share content with friends who aren't on the platform you're using
@qudsia_ali I think this is an issue when they are not on any platform.
but cross platform sharing is possible.
@qudsia_ali you can still share content and that content can still be viewed off-platform. However, the features you can use become very limited without joining the platform
Delphi — Digital Clone Studio
The ability to disable certain features. I want a chronological timeline, I want the ability to disable reels.
So I guess more niche customizations
Also better sorting of bookmarked content (twitter)
@philipsnyder Chronological timeline is too important - algo feeds are the main reason for filter bubbles!
@philipsnyder agreed, I also think that the main thing that's missing is having simpler features
I'd love to disable the infinite scroll after... let's say, one hour of scrolling.

Learning something productive. I feel if the media usage is directed towards productivity it'll be quite beneficial in long term.
@lodovico_sella you can still find ways to learn new things by following creators that educate their followers and training your algorithm to mostly show you things you're interested in
@lodovico_sella That's because intensive content do not go well with ads

I guess they're really missing out on providing a productive schedule for the day. Simply tracking your hours spent is not something that people are interested in. They require motivation and the opportunity to state themselves and get heard.
Also, quite not happy with the report option as no instant action is taken. My one request will be like a speck of dust amongst bulk requests that get created on an everyday basis. Need more personalized reporting and prompt actions on the same.

@rupal_sharma5 I understand your concerns very well. Self governance is going to be one of the main feature on the platform I am working on - please support 🙏
@rupal_sharma5 it would be cool if you could schedule certain hours in the day to use an app and it would definitely boost productivity too! Regarding the report option, I agree, many times apps will simply stop showing you what you reported even though further action should be taken with certain things

@chetan_natesh That's really great!
