What are some of the biggest challenges you've faced in raising funding?

I'm curious to know, as I plan on raising funds.

Getting investors to believe in my vision and the potential of my business has been one of the hardest things I've had to do to get funding. It's not always easy to explain why your idea is valuable, especially when you're competing with other businesses for funding. Also, the process of raising money can take a lot of time and energy, which could be put to better use elsewhere in the business. Despite these problems, I've learned that the key to getting funding is to be persistent and understand your business model well.

The number of times you're going to be said "No" to far exceeds the times you'll hear "Yes! We would love to give you money!". I haven't ever done fundraising myself, but our founder once told me that is a very challenging part.
