What are the best platforms (like Product Hunt, JVZoo, etc.) for launching a product? For a newly established marketer, which platform is easiest for launching a digital product? Additionally, are there ways to involve other affiliates in sharing profits?

There are so many huge lists of directories and platforms to launch your product. When you check the activity or the traffic they get, you can skip most of them. I am currently starting a more social approach where founders, creators and makers help each other.

I would say I mostly like the indiehacker website. It is really good for the launch of side projects and has a good community there as well. P.S. I would love to get your thoughts on the discussion that I recently posted and your views on it. - What’s Missing in Your Favourite Startup Newsletters?

@sonia_ponzo thats true but you can always create your founder page and product page that you are working on. I didnt pay for my things over there.

@abhimanyu_kapoor But Indie Hackers doesn’t allow free posting..I think most users have to pay to share content, though Indie Hackers seems to have specific criteria for selecting users?

For product launches, Product Hunt's solid. AppSumo and BetaList are good options too. Just pick what fits your product and audience best.

@acewithabhi Great list! Thank you very much. I discovered some websites I didn’t know before. You didn’t mention the following websites, but they are worth checking out if you’re interested: http://alternative.me/ https://socialcompare.com https://www.goodfirms.co https://www.sideprojectors.com http://trustpilot.com/ @tanujachandel You might find these platforms useful as well. If your product is geared toward Apple/Mac users, try www.setapp.com, https://www.reddit.com/r/macapps/, and https://www.reddit.com/r/mac/. The users are quite active. Don’t miss https://www.stacksocial.com/ and https://www.humblebundle.com/ if you want to run deals for your digital product(s). We’ve submitted our software, iBoysoft NTFS for Mac (https://iboysoft.com/ntfs-for-mac/), to several platforms so more people can learn about this useful utility. It allows users to read and write (add, delete, modify, copy files, etc.) to Microsoft NTFS-formatted external hard drives and USB drives without the hassle of reformatting to an Apple-friendly file system. Without this software, Mac users can only read files on NTFS drives but cannot write to them.

Product Hunt is definitely solid for product launches. AppSumo works well too if your product is a good fit. For early stage products, BetaList can help build some initial traction and validate demand. I've heard good things about JVZoo but haven't used it myself. At the end of the day, choose the platform where your target audience hangs out!
