What are your perspectives on fundraising and going public in 2024?

I don’t think at this point a recession will happen. However regarding fundraising, I don’t think it’s going to be like it was in 2019 pre Covid where VCs were handing out money to anyone. I also think VCs are also going to do more due diligence on AI companies despite how much more favorable AI is now days. I’m would say several AI companies who just created wrappers for openAI are going to find it super difficult to really find product market fit. And this may lead to many companies winding down unless they pivot.

what stage of fundraising are you at Jason? I understand it is tough out there for series A fundraising, but for pre-seed and seed there are still plenty of opportunities cause the amounts are much lower
