A study by MIT found that 22% of employees feel isolated from others when working remotely. This is a big risk for companies. What are your tips and strategies to counteract social isolation? How do you manage to build a good corporate culture despite physical distance?

Go out and play basketball or pingpong with other remoters in your area. Do it everyday.

@henry_burkert Yeah. You lose that with remote for sure. Pros and cons with everything. But the life / work balance is so good with remote that it's hard to go back to an office setting if you don't have to.

@sentry_co Good point. Sport is always a good tool. But it's also important to strengthen social cohesion within the team. Despite physical distance, companies need to create a strong sense of togetherness.
Companies should be making more efforts to ensure connection between team members

@swayammi7 You're absolutely right. Employee networking is very important. Good feedback processes also have a high priority in order to identify problems in the teams in good time.
There are now so many different software solutions that ensure connection in remote teams, even despite the physical distance. In my opinion, it is important for companies to keep up with the changing times and find a tool that also suits the company and it's culture.

@marvin_maendle You're right. There is no one solution that fits all. Depending on the company, a suitable method and the right tools must be found.
