  • What could make you stop using a new app, even if it’s a great idea that solves your problems?

The quality of implementation plays a huge role for me. For example, I might stop using an app if it lacks proper text line heights, has small padding, lacks hover states, or has buttons without actions. I wouldn’t just call it UI; I think it’s the founders' care and attention to their future users and their product. It seems like the love the founders have for their product matters to me first, then I assess the functionality and how convenient the UX is.

I would stop using a new app even if it’s a great idea if it has a confusing user interface, frequent bugs, or lacks reliable customer support. If the app feels too cumbersome or doesn't integrate well into my daily routine, I'd probably look for simpler alternatives.

One key reason I might stop using a new app, even if it’s a great idea, is if it has performance problems. Slow load times, frequent crashes, or bugs can quickly turn an otherwise useful tool into a frustrating experience. If the app can’t consistently deliver smooth and reliable performance, I’d likely seek out a more stable alternative.

@hamza_afzal_butt you're absolutely right, I think I mean the "performance problems"too, thank you for the term)

If the app has issues in its interface or the responsive web design (RWD) is lagging. If the app is hard to navigate through I may stop using it.

Performance Issues, too much notifications and ads ,Frequent crashes, slow loading times, or problems can be quite discouraging. privacy issues like If an app asks for too many permissions, collects too much personal data, or is not clear about how it utilise data Apps should run well, so i would remove them if i continue to experience problems.

I completely agree with you. Paying attention to the small details in design and usability can make a difference. If an app seems messy or unfinished, it can be dealbreaker for me as well. It is obvious that the creators' passion for their product really comes through in the litter things.

In general I have app fatigue on my phone. I would rather access the service by logging into a mobile-optimized web app in a browser, or by integration with some other native app (eg. SMS)

If there are continuous bugs and customer support doesn’t help resolve them, it would be a reason to delete the app.

I’m with you on this. If an app doesn’t have a clean and thoughtful design, it’s a dealbreaker for me

Hi Ksenia! Attention to detail in the UI really shows how much the creators value their users. If an app lacks that polish, it makes me question their commitment to user experience

I stop using it if the customer support is unresponsive or unhelpful, especially if I run into issues or need assistance.

For me it's just an expensive price tag 😅 I can deal with poor UI (founder care) or complex documentation (ChatGPT is my best friend in those cases). But price is the most important variable. I've built like 3 apps "in-house" only because the public alternatives are more expensive than they need to be. For example, there's a popular app that costs $50 a month. And yet the version I built "in-house" costs me $0.01 a day. Sure, I had to "invest" 2-3 days to build it. But that's worth it in my opinion. Even if it's a great app that solves my problem. Edit: Of course, this doesn't work if I can't build the product myself. For example, I know that Apple charges 40% more than it costs them to make an iPhone. But since I'm not going to build my own phone anytime soon (lol) I just pay that price.

I don't mind if an app is new and has some bugs. As long as the customer feedback is there, I'm happy to use it. But this goes without saying, the app must provide constant value to me!

I recently switched from an email marketing app because there customer support team was not responding and we were facing some issues. So we had no option but to switch,.

Hey Sushi, I thinks it is important for me to use a product easily, which means i can understand how to use the features in a limit time. I will not enjoy a products that need me a lot of time to explore it features hahah~ BTW, i noticed that you are good at testing a product, May I invite you to sign up for our Beta test and get a free plan? it is an AI-powered reading assistant. We are gathering early users' suggestion for improving our product before launching lol ~~Your suggestions are very valuable to us~

Yes, its lag issue sucks, but a solution for it is that the app is properly downloaded, during downloading from many browsers, due a bad internet connection, file in not 100/100 download, so it install ok but do problems. So, i recommend you to use a good browser that is 100% safe and secure and give you many options for seamless browsing like vidmate apk

Apps with poor quality implementation can significantly detract from the user experience. Examples of these problems include incorrect text line heights and insufficient padding. I'm really particular about details like these

the quality of the software seems to be a reflection of the founders' concern for it. I have doubts about their dedication if it appears that they haven't put much thought into the specifics.

Although the fact that the product is paid with a free sample is fantastic, I'm curious if there are several price tiers according to features or usage. How much does it cost for smaller groups?
