How much people - or even yourself as a designer - undervalue your services. Over the years, friends and family believe that my work is worth a free favor here and there, just another offer to "help my resume". If you suggest a price or provide a quote, they always have a friend who can do it for cheap. Good for them. Don't ever let anyone make you believe that your skills are worth little more than favors.

@shamika_shirke so true!! I completely understand your pain. I remember making a full magazine for a relative and they didn't pay me. Though, when I started the project they promised me a good amount but they only paid 1/3rd of it which I consider useless. Shamika, are you a mentor?
@shamika_shirke Exaclt, people just don't understand how much efforts it takes to design something, they just overlook it and then decide the biased price line.
