What do I need to prepare for ProductHunt launch?

We're building a SaaS that allows customers to show changelog, product roadmap and collect customer feedback. We want to launch it on ProductHunt. How can I prepare for that? What do I need to do for getting the best results?

You can find many articles on this topic on the Internet, but after introducing our latest product (Alphadoc), we learned a few new things. Not every vote counts the same.

If you have an active account and have at least 100 points, your upvote is valued much more than the upvote of someone completely new.

So, in preparation for the product launch, I would take some time in advance to be active on the platform in order to collect points and get to know other active users who later during launch day can give you a valuable upvote
